This course is designed for learners at the B2 level who wish to expand their vocabulary, improve their listening and speaking skills, and gain greater confidence in using English in academic and professional contexts. The course is based on the textbook Skillful 3 Listening and Speaking (i the fall 2026 starting from Unit 5), which combines language development with contemporary topics drawn from science, society, and culture. Individual lessons are supplemented with authentic materials, videos, and interactive activities that encourage discussion and critical thinking. The course also includes systematic pronunciation practice and work with the most common academic vocabulary. It is suitable for academics as well as members of the general public who wish to improve their comprehension of spoken English and further develop their communication skills.
