Writing for Publication: Session 1

This 15-week course focuses on the step-by-step writing of a research article in English. More specifically, WriPub1 will guide you through writing about the methods and results of your research and you will also produce several drafts of an abstract. You will write about your own research, and receive individual feedback with an emphasis on structure and content. In addition, the course will also introduce you to various writing strategies that will make writing easier and that will help you develop a sense of your audience. The course is mainly online in LMS Moodle and you can expect to spend approximately 3-6 hours per week at your computer working on course assignments, which you will submit twice a week according to a predetermined schedule. The course also includes 2-3 meetings via Zoom with the instructor and the other course participants.
