The course takes place synchronously through live video lessons.
This course is designed for students who have already acquired a basic knowledge of Ukrainian. Students will further develop their knowledge of Ukrainian grammar and spelling and expand their vocabulary for everyday communication.
The following communication situations will be covered: My Home, Renting or Buying a Home, At the Hospital, Travel, Weather, Describing a Person, Clothing
Sufficient time will also be devoted to topics such as Ukrainian traditions and notable Ukrainian figures.
Grammar topics covered include verb conjugation (future tense, modal verbs, verbs of motion), noun declension (dative, instrumental, and locative singular), ordinal numbers, and the most common prepositions.
The course is taught by a Ukrainian instructor who is able to explain linguistic concepts in Czech.
The instructor supplements the language material with cultural information, because studying a language is not just about rules and words, but also about getting to know the country, its history, and its culture.
