This course starts from Unit 9 of Genki I, while providing a thorough revision of previous units. Students will progressively acquire and develop language skills for practical, everyday use, with a strong emphasis on spoken Japanese to foster conversational fluency. The curriculum focuses on expanding vocabulary relevant to students' daily lives and common scenarios, enabling them to gain the confidence to communicate effectively in everyday situations and for travel in Japan. After the first semester, we will transition to Genki II.
Instruction takes into account the professional needs of academics and researchers.
