The course is designed for learners whose native language does not belong to the Slavic language family—for example Romance, Germanic, Indo‑Aryan languages, and others.
Grammar topics include the imperative, the accusative of animate masculine nouns, the dative, the instrumental, and the comparison of adjectives and adverbs.
Communication and vocabulary topics include visiting the doctor, studying, sports and leisure activities.
The course is taught using a communicative approach to ensure it is practical and engaging for participants. Instruction takes into account the professional needs of those working in science and research. The course is taught by a Czech teacher who can explain selected language points in English if needed.
