Kateřina Bezdíčková
I have been teaching Czech to foreigners for approximately ten years, but still, each of my courses is different. I look directly to my students for inspiration. And I try to adapt to the needs of each group. I like to converse with students, and I know that it is already possible at the A1 level. In each lesson, we debate, play, work with the textbook, do grammar, listening exercises, analyze and deduce.
I like history, so I incorporate it into my lessons. We talk about the origin of words, but also about significant Czech events and personalities. Whether we are dealing with the issue of reflexives or debating, a pleasant, friendly, and stimulating atmosphere is important to me. In the lessons we speak primarily Czech. If it necessary, I can explain Czech grammar in English and Russian.
